Kim TUFFIN has gained considerable experience over many years in the front line of law enforcement with the Metropolitan Police in London, as both a patrol officer and detective. Working for the world famous New Scotland Yard, he has undertaken some of the most serious, complex and high profile investigations, including murder, rape and fraud, with highly successful outcomes.
Kim was among the first Detective Inspector officers to be selected to attend the Senior Investigating Officer (S.I.O.) programme at the Police Training School at Hendon. As a qualified S.I.O. he led investigations into Critical Incidents and Major Investigations in the UK’s multicultural and busy capital city.
Highly experienced in all aspects of police and detective work, Kim used his experience, incite and compassion to help the victims of crime and bring criminals to justice.
As an investigator, he is trained in forensic’s, interviewing techniques, victim support and community relations. He has led teams specialising in investigating relationship violence, hate crime, sexual offences, intelligence gathering and chaired the Multi Agency Public Protection Panel (MAPPP) tasked with the responsibility for the safety of the public and supervision of registered sex offenders within the community.
Having built a reputation as a fair but tenacious investigator, he retired from the Metropolitan Police in 2008 to pursue a career in the private sector. His company Holloway (services) Ltd was established in 2009. Kim combined the personal qualities of professionalism, discretion and trustworthiness he displayed in his career as a police officer, together with the expertise he developed investigating deception and relationship issues, into the ethos of his company.
Holloway(services) Ltd is now a global company and although based in the UK works internationally, it has undertaken many successful investigations abroad, particularly in the Far East.
